World Series Ratings Hit a Homer
Game 1 between the Philadelphia Phillies and the New York Yankees drew more than 19 million viewers, the biggest ratings for the annual opener this decade, according to Variety.
That's also a 33 percent increase in viewers over last year's Game 1.
Meanwhile, Fox has shut down its primetime schedule for two weeks while it broadcasts the fall classic. Fans of "Glee" have to wait until Nov. 11 for the next episode to air.
