D-rogatory
You probably didn't notice, but Utah's Democrats launched a scorching rebuke against their GOP lawmakers after a special legislative session that will be best remembered for spending $15 million on a Capitol parking garage, but refusing to cough up $2 million in emergency health care for the poor.

The press release flaying the Dominant Republicans as "failed, arrogant and irresponsible" wound up being more breathtaking for its bloated rhetoric that bordered on good ol' agiprop.

"Wednesday's special session of the Legislature would have had a different outcome on at least one important issue if Democrats had been in the majority," squeaked Utah's mini-minority party.

With a 27 to 77 minority in the Legislature in the most scarlet of red states, the Democrats might as well have promised universal health care and an iPod in every pot while they were at it.

Shaking its cute little fist, the Utah's slightly left-of-center party spat out, "Providing the extra Medicaid funds is the right and moral thing to do."

Of course, people missed it; you people stuck it in here. I know you think it’s funny when the Democrats put out a press release, so, no one should be surprised that it was marginalized and stuffed in here where no one will look at it, or even know to look at it.

What you failed to note was the consensus. You know, down at the bottom where every* Democratic Office holder up on the hill and EVERY candidate, EVERY candidate, for the State House and Senate signed onto it.

Show me something the other party can reach a unanimous decision on, without weeks and weeks of fighting (in less than 3 hours, say), and I will be happy to find this post of yours less asinine.

*exception: the two Senators who are retiring this year.

the words in the Democrats News Release were not only appropriate, but right on target.

The majority party is now demanding a special session so they can reduce taxes to hide their failures, and in hopes of retaining absolute power. Great! Count me in, because I longer give a crap about my disabled or elderly neighbors! They can go die for all I care, and should if they cannot take care of themselves, RIGHT!

Glen your post is failed, arrogant, and irresponsible, as is the Wrong Party called the Right Party, that has so left the center that it no longer represents those who used to be proud to be Republicans. Tax breaks to get elected is sick, and you are part of the disease.

Isn’t it fun to be condescending, Glenn? Oh, by the way that means talking down to people..
I am guessing that is what you were demonstrating when you took the act of disgusting evil, which goes against all the preaching of the major religions to take care of the “least of” them, then focus on evidence of solidarity by the State Democrats and calling it “cute” That’s a cute way of attempting to minimize Republican misuse of power.

This is why the mainstream news media are steadily losing their audience. The reporting is crap. It's all laziness and superficiality. How many articles have you wrung out of the "Dems are a minority laughingstock" storyline, Glen? I know, I know -- you have deadlines and it's so much easier to just write the same story every time.
