'Yokels' strike back at Rocky
The Utah Senate staff took note of Rocky Anderson's dig at them during a global warming speech, where he said he thinks Gov. Jon Huntsman understands what can be done to curb global warming, "It's
just that he's facing the most conservative, backward Legislature on the planet." (http://blogs.sltrib.com/utahpolitics/2006/07/rocky-road-trip.htm)

On the state Senate's own blog, the staff responds:

"If the Mayor of Salt Lake finds the legislature to be cooler toward him next session, will he count that as a victory in his fight against global warming?" (http://senatesite.com/blog/2006/07/rocky-hearts-legislature.html)

Brrrr.

And Utah House Majority Whip Steve Urquhart adds:

"I liked the part where he asked if people could believe he is a mayor in Utah. I can't. He's so much cooler than the rest of us yokels."
