Follow the Leader
It appears that the next Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid may need to work on his leadership.
Shortly after a Senate hearing on the Washington County and White Pine County, Nev., land-management bills got going this week, senators were summoned to a vote. So Nevada Sen. Jon Ensign strolled out of the committee room, followed by Sen. Bob Bennett, Reid and a herd of staffers and reporters.
They got about halfway down the hall when Ensign stopped and realized they were headed the wrong direction. "Why are we going this way?" he said. "Are you guys just following me?"
"Don't I always follow you?" asked the Democratic leader.
