Washington Post columnist Courtland Milloy plays anthropologist in an interesting take on the ties that bind Utah and D.C., in light of the district's efforts to get a vote and Utah's key role in the political calculus.

I recently drove across the entire district, as well, but I didn't notice a whole lot of similarities between Utah and Washington. But, then, I was just looking for a parking space.
