With the herd of Democrats bidding for president taking shape, I asked Rep. Jim Matheson recently if he had a favorite. Sure, it's early, but if Sen. Bob Bennett can join Mitt Romney's team, and Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr. can line up behind Sen. John McCain, then maybe Matheson is jumping on board.
Matheson said he hasn't picked anyone. "I haven't taken myself out of the race yet," he said.
He then said, repeatedly, that he was joking.

What Blue Dog? They all follow PELOSI like little puppies, never missing a step!
Thank the gods they follow Pelosi; following Bush and the rest of the Repuglicans has led us almost to disaster.
But I wanted to comment on Mitt Romney. Funny that the TRIB the other day went on and on about how his "LDS views had moderated and changed." Where you saw him through your rosey, church influenced glasses, I saw it as just another cynical manipulator, flip flopping as the political winds shift. The Mittster has always been out only for himself; even when he was here "saving the Olympics," you could tell his ambitions were more important. Just because he wears the right underwear doesn't mean he's not just another cynical, grubbing politician!
Occasionally, it is not difficult to see why a person would choose not to leave their name beside a comment. Leaving the name "anonymous", such as the first commenter did, removed him/her from all responsibility of judgment. This is an important observation in this instance, because the afore mentioned comment is so steeped in stupidity and inanity, that it is easy to see why nobody would want to lay claim to it.
I challenge this ‘anonymous’ individual (or other type of mammalian) to prove one time where Matheson supported Pelosi when it was against the interests of Utah. Prove one time where Matheson supported Pelosi in a position that he did not already retain before the beginning of this congress.
"Anonymous", in this case, is analogous to another equally ambiguous term: "Moron".
