"This is the most pressure I have been under the entire session," he said as he picked up the 11th salt shaker.
A tower of 10 already sat at the conference room table.
The sport stacking showed how seriously lawmakers were taking the last day of the session, one that lacked much of the heartburn of previous sessions.
Then disaster struck. Rep. Kevin Garn tried to add a 12th shaker. He failed miserably.
. . .
And then there was the Democratic approach.
Rep. Jackie Biskupski wanted a little help loosening up on the last day of the session. She jokingly asked the Democratic caucus: "Is there any way I can have (a drink of) tequilla?"
Then she reminded herself that alcohol isn't allowed on the Capitol complex.
To which House Minority Leader Ralph Becker replied "don't let that stop you."
Rep. David Litvack chimed in to say he'd rather have a beer.

I think it tells a lot about the democrats morals. They turn to alcohol when the chips are down.
I am glad I am a Republican.
I think it says a lot about you anonymous that you can't take a joke.
It shows a lot about Republicans morals. Playing around when there's work to be done.
I'm glad I'm a Democrat.
What about republican "morals" which claim to support family unity while promoting measures which break up the families of immigrants, turn away sons and daughters on the basis of their sexual identity and send fathers to their death in an illegal war against a country which was never a threat to us.
