Trib obtains internal GOP memo

We obtained (that usually means someone slipped it to us in a plain brown envelope) a top-secret document from the Utah Republican Party HQ.

Authored by Party Secretary Patty Johnson, the document serves as the strategic playbook for -- no, not winning elections -- etiquette and social savvy for teens.

The tips are so excellent that we decided we will periodically run some of the top ones. The great thing is, despite the title of the booklet, these nuggets aren't just for teens. We would all be better off by applying them to our own lives.

So, with no further ado, here is the first of many.

No. 1 Learn to yawn with your mouth closed.
