Do You Know Who I Am?!

Being majority leader will get you some perks, but it won't get you a pizza.

That's the lesson Sen. Curt Bramble learned this week when he tried to write a personal check for his family's pizza order. When the young lady told him she couldn't take a check, Bramble resorted to the persuasive techniques he's honed at the State Legislature.

Problem is, she didn't really care who he was. Bigger problem is, she has a blog, a sharp wit and wrote a whale of a yarn about the encounter.

So check it out here.

It's absolutely worth the read.

And not to spoil the ending, but he ends up giving her a $2 tip for a $30 pizza order.

2 bucks on 30? AFTER she has to sit through all of that? Wow ...

That's not cool at all.

Just goes to show that Bramble isn't accustomed to paying for his meals.

That picture is AMAZINGLY funny. Where it says "300" it ought to be 'shopped to say $2.00 (tip).

Nothing could be finer than having a competent and respectful female beat Bramble this fall in the election.

Vote for RaDene R. Hatfield district 16 voters.

Lets make a great change.

Something is seriously wrong with that dude. If he acted this way to her, then he has probably done this to almost everyone he meets. Why don't you set up a blog site just for people to post their own "encounter" story?

I am a small business owner that only accepts cash or credit cards as payment. I am now going to change my policy to "No checks except for Curtis Bramble because he is Majority Leader of the Utah Senate whose reputation would be ruined if he bounced a check and besides he is a CPA that knows that a check is the same as cash."

I suggest that every retailer in Utah do the same.

@ anonymous small business owner you might consider doing that for Bramble but you need to include the caveat that:

1.) The check will require 4 pieces of valid ID of which none can be a temple recommend.
2.) The good (I use the term loosely) senator must leave a cash deposit equal to 3x's the face value of the check.
3.) If the good (again term is used loosely) senator opens his mouth to complain he will be assessed a surcharge of no less than $100.00 to help pay for his carbon credits due to the hot air he would be spewing out.

Just some suggestions to help with your proposal to accept check from this arrogant, holier than thou dirt bag politician.

She should have just decked the Nancy Boy, sorry to everyone named Nancy, and dealt with the wife and daughter who seemed to have more going for them. I feel sorry for family members who have to be constantly embarrassed by people like this.

Boy, old Bramble is a real gem.

I know restaurant workers at one upscale place in Provo who all loath and hate when Bramble shows up. They all nearly have to draw straws to ensure they are not the one to have to serve his table. Cheap tip perhaps, but abusive, insolent behavior.

It doesn't help that a cousin who interned at the State Capital says he's detested by the other interns there who see his pompous, outrageous manner.

That aside, does not make him a criminal, but if Utahan's wanted a true conservative, they'd out that guy so fast for his Establishment, David Rockefeller supporting treason against the United States. Bramble and his ilk love to please their puppet masters, and grovel at the chance for political high appointment should it come their way---as it did for Mickey Leavitte after he treasonously turned over the private information on every Utah Citizen to a national database, which was reported as the "M.A.T.R.I.X."

Sad state of affairs. And of course, here is the David Rockefeller quotation taken from his own book published in 2002 entitled "Memoirs" from page 405:

"For more than a century ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents such as my encounter with Castro to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists' and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure -- one world, if you will. If that's the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it."

And all of that power that Rockefeller holds, is amplified as stooges lusting for power, gain and glory of the world in local states across the country stand lock step in fulfilling a Rockefeller, anti-American Agenda.
