Chairman Buttars
The new Utah Senate leaders have made their committee chair appointments.

All you really need to know is that Sen. Chris Buttars is chairman ot the Senate panel overseeing judges -- the Senate Judiciary, Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Committee.
It was just last year that Buttars was stripped of his chairmanship of the Senate Judicial Confirmation Committee for the way he ripped into a sitting judge over a decision he disagreed with. He also played a role in Wednesday's rejection of Judge Robert Hilder's nomination to the Utah Court of Appeals.
Buttars also is the new vice chairman of the powerful Senate Rules Committee, serving under newly dubbed Chair Margaret Dayton.

What a travesty. A man is stripped of his chairmanshjip for his intolerance and politicla interference with the judicial branch. then he is reinstated after he helps to topple the leder who took his chairmnaship away. that does not bode well for justice in Utah over the next few years.
I'm calling BS on this post. The chair of that committee does not oversee judges. The only role in the legislature for overseeing judges is in confirmation and those who are members of the conduct commission. I know this post is the story you want to write, but it's not the truth.
Great news. We need someone who can hold the judges at least a little accountable for their lies before they are appointed about being fair and then becoming activist legislators as soon as they get their judgeship. Go Buttars, go. Expect more excellence from one of the best legislators out there who is continually the subject of mean-spirited attacks by bigots. Buttars is a good and honorable man.
Buttars does not know the meaning of "good and honorbale, and obvioulsy you do not as well. Buttars makes us the laughingstock of the nation with his bigotry and ignorance.

Andrew McCullough is the exact opposite of a commie. He's a staunch Libertarian, and believes that human beings can interact cordially without the say-so of dark-hearted detestable old coots like Chris Buttars.
