Bishop calls BS on BCS
Congressman Rob Bishop, R-Utah, joined the bandwagon of Utah politicians piling on the BCS -- the system for declaring a national college football champion.
In a brief House floor speech this week, Bishop called the BCS "a system with one too many initials."
The U of U alum hailed the nation's only undefeated team and suggested they rightfully should occupy the No. 1 spot.
Had the BCS system been adopted for choosing the winners in war and politics, "Germany won World War II and Hillary Clinton is still the leading presidential candidate."
