Thoughts on scrimmage
I'm headed up to the scrimmage in a bit, if this wind keeps up it could be a real test for Utah's quarterbacks. Rice-Eccles Stadium is a natural crazy wind tunnel anyway, it could be really wild up there.
Yesterday afternoon's practice was cut a little short and finished to the blaring tune of "Sweet Home Alabama," not sure whey the Ute coaching staff picked that song, I thought I was going to hear something Michigan related.
Coach Kyle Whittingham said he was happy with the team's focus even when they are practicing without the pads.
From what he told us, I'm not expecting to see many of the starters or threes today in the scrimmage. It sounds like the coaches want to get some rotations settled.
Personally I'm excited to see David Reed in some situations since he had to sit out the last scrimmage after getting a wisdom tooth extracted.
