With another candidate evidently out of the picture, Whittingham's stock might be rising in Washington's view. However Andersen's pursuing of the Utah State job could be taken as a good sign for Whittingham backers. I don't think he'd pursue that position if he thought there was a chance Whittingham would leave, which would make him a prime candidate to replace Whittingham at Utah.

One little blurb out of the practice facility today. Backup senior running back Ray Stowers was granted another year of eligibility. He redshirted in 2004 with injuries and missed the 2005 season with injuries.
