Get away from the computer for a day and look what happens, mass confusion! First Aaron Roderick and Dave Schramm are co-coordinators and the next thing we hear Roderick is off to Washington and Schramm is the coordinator.
I've left a couple messages for Roderick, but haven't heard back from him since his last text that he was still undecided about the Washington job. I'm not sure what caused his change of heart today, whether it was a better offer from Washington or if maybe there was some disagreement over sharing of duties as coordinators or salaries at Utah.
I'm technically on vacation so someone else is handling the story for us, but I'll try to keep you updated as much as I can with what I hear here.

Lya, you will no doubt take hits from Ute faithful for not being the first to have all this breaking news. But in this case you were lucky to be "on vacation". The best approach on this one was to wait for the dust to settle. When it settled, it was clear the U had prematurely announced co-coordinators and Roderick had made a great decision to join a team on the rise at the UW.
Lya, you deserve a vacation and do a great job covering the Utes. Now if you will change that ugly blue shirt we will love ya forever!
So who at the SLT covers the Utes on one of their biggest recruiting weekend?
Naven,
Take off your blue-tinted glasses and 1996 WAC Champions t-shirt. Washington is a team on the rise? Why? Because they hired Sarkisian? Oh, man, you kill me.
I guess when a team does not win a game all season long and they hire a new coach they are "on the rise". After all they can only go up from there.
Yep, Washington is on the rise. Mark it down and check back in two years. This is a wise move in every way for Roderick.
Big Ute, I promise I'll get it changed for ya!
Naven, Roderick did change his mind, so even though Utah may have looked at fault, the school wasn't. Talk about being indecisive though for Roderick! Shows it must have been a tough decision for him.
