Ken Vierra, the agent for Brent Casteel, is putting out the word that the former Utah receiver has signed a three-year deal with the Cleveland Browns that could potentially earn him about $1 million over the three years (the minimum for 2009 is $310,000, $325,000 for 2010 and $340,000 for 2011).
The Browns drafted two receivers, Ohio State's Brian Robiskie and Georgia's Mohammed Massaquoi, but Vierra believes Casteel has a good chance of making it because he is an inside guy unlike the other two.
"We think it's a good fit," Vierra said. "He's like any other rookie, he'll get a chance."

Spare us the spin. Casteel has signed a free agent contract like many others. Talk of multi-year deals and gobs of dollars is premature until he makes the team. Good luck to him.
