Focus too much on BCS for coach's liking

Utah coach Kyle Whittingham sounded like he knew what was coming during today's press conference when he was asked about the Utes' chances of making it into the BCS now that they've lost.

His answer was as consistent as it has always been, saying the Utes' goal is to always win the conference title first and not worry about anything else.

As for the BCS and the goal of reaching it, he said it has "become a monster," because it is being focused on so much.

"I don't know if all teams are putting their eggs in that one basket, but to do that is a risky business," he said.

Forgot to mention yesterday that defensive back Kamaron Yancy, who hasn't played this year because of a foot injury, is back on the field practicing. Hopefully he'll provide some depth that is looking thin due to injuries and other issues.
