Low-key celebrity sighting
A celebrity spotting in Kanab, courtesy of Tribune online producer (and guest Vulture blogger) Kim McDaniel:
Kanab, Utah, is probably the last place you'd expect to see an Oscar-winning actress, but on Saturday night that's just where Linda Hunt was spotted.

A longtime supporter of the nearby Best Friends Animal Society, Hunt was having dinner with a small group at a front window table at the acclaimed Rockin' V Cafe (incredible key lime pie, by the way).

Not a single person acknowledged her fame - at least not overtly - but the entire place was like one big family reunion, with tourists, locals and Best Friends staff mingling and laughing throughout the evening.

Hunt, you may recall, won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role as photographer Billy Kwan in "The Year of Living Dangerously" (1982). Her credits also include "Dune," "Kindergarten Cop" and "Stranger Than Fiction." She's also the narrator, Gaia, on the videogame series "God of War."
