Plans for tonight: Czech yourself

• The Flobots, a rock-influenced hip-hop collective from Colorado, plays In the Venue, 579 W. 200 South, Salt Lake City. Show starts at 6:30. Tickets are $15, at the door.

• The Talich Quartet (pictured), a chamber-music group that specializes in works by current and traditional Czech composers, performs at Libby Gardner Hall, 1375 E. Presidents Circle, University of Utah, Salt Lake City. Tickets are $25, or $5 for students, at the door.

• Canadian psychedelic-rock band Pink Mountaintops plays The Urban Lounge, 241 S. 500 East, Salt Lake City. Opening act: Black Hens. Show starts at 9. Tickets are $10, at 24Tix.
